ஆசிரியர் குறிப்பு

முருகன் கண்ணா திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டம், தச்சநல்லூர் அருகே உள்ள மேலக்கரையில் பிறந்தவர். கணினி தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்வி பயின்ற இவர், அண்ணல் அம்பேத்கரின் வழியே புத்தரை அறிந்து, அதன் காரணமாக ‘நவபோதி பண்பாட்டு மையம்’ என்ற அமைப்பைத் தொடங்கிச் செயல்பட்டவர்.

தற்போது விடுதலைச் சிறுத்தைகள் கட்சியில் இணைந்து சமூக மாற்றத்திற்கான போராட்டக் களத்தில் தீவிரமாக இயங்கி வருகிறார். மார்க்சியத்தையும், அம்பேத்கரியத்தையும் அடிமட்ட மக்களிடம் கொண்டு செல்வதையே தனது முதன்மைப் பணியாகக் கொண்டு செயல்பட்டு வருகிறார்.

Author Description

Murugan Kanna was born in Melakarai, near Thatchanallur in the Tirunelveli district. Though formally educated in computer technology, his profound understanding of Buddha was shaped through the teachings of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. This ideological awakening inspired him to found and actively operate an organization called the ‘Navabodhi Cultural Centre’ (*Navabodhi Panbattu Maiyam*).

He subsequently joined the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) to actively participate in the grassroots struggle for social transformation. He considers educating the masses and taking the core ideologies of Marxism and Ambedkarism to the people as his primary life’s mission.
