Devi Mohan (தேவி மோகன்)

Writer Devi Mohan (alias Bharathidevi) is a multifaceted historical researcher, social worker, and trustee of the Chennai Omandurar Memorial Trust.

She authored the renowned historical book, “Omandurar Muthal Muthalvar” (Omandurar: The First Chief Minister), detailing the life of Omandurar Ramasamy Reddiyar. Her sixth and latest work is the translated book, “Agrarian Reforms and Parity Economy”.

For her remarkable contributions to recovering and presenting historical documents to society, she was honored with the prestigious ‘Atal Foundation Award’ in New Delhi.
